Lead the regulatory affairs process of the company, and ensures that regulatory affairs in the assigned geography protects Unilever's license to operate and creates growth opportunities and competitive advantage through regulatory influencing and coordinate action to address acute and sensitive business challenges to ensure business continuity BU leads to address emerging issues that can impact business operation and /or business continuity in assigned geography.

you will be responsible for:

  • Defines and builds the appropriate team capability and talent development agenda to ensure competitive edge.
  • Strategically monitors and anticipates regulatory developments/trends/initiatives in the assigned geography and assesses potential business opportunities and risks.
  • Defines and delivers the execution regulatory advocacy and innovation strategy and plans agreed with BGs/BUs in the assigned geography.
  • Business partners with senior stakeholders.
What can't you miss to come to this team?

  • Education: Pharmacist or other Life Sciences Graduate.
  • Language: Spanish and English fluent, written and spoken.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs
  • Important: Previous experience in multi country management
  • People management experience (preferably including experience with reports at distance)
  • Good knowledge in local regulatory legislation procedures and guidelines governing pharmaceutical products.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • People and project management skills.
  • Verbal and written negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and assertive skills in dealing with internal and external partners.
  • 35 years of relevant regulatory working experience.
  • Experience in an external environment (e.g., contact with health authorities or industry associations) is a prerequisite.
  • A welldeveloped internal and external professional (Industry associations in the region) network
