NAM Trade Services is a vital unit in the Global Trade Operations, responsible for managing various trade products such as documentary LC and Standby LC families, supporting various Citigroup businesses. Global Trade Operation provides top-notch trade services in over 70 markets worldwide. The Organization caters to corporate and FI clients by handling transaction preparation, processing, and customer service. To ensure high-quality delivery, the organization collaborates closely with business partners and internal servicers, placing significant emphasis on control, customer service, and quality at transaction and process levels.

ROLE MAIN PURPOSE:

Support transactional processing for Letter of Credit products, review LC documents for compliance with international regulations and standards, internal consistency, and governmental documentary regulations.

  • Migration and Project Management
  • Processing daily transactions related to Documents
  • Ensure Service Level Agreement compliance at all times
  • Understand customer requirements
  • Provide creative solutions to reduce errors and adhere to audit and control policies
  • Back-up coverage during high volume periods
  • Utilize technical knowledge for quality service and operational efficiency
  • Stay updated on product changes and system enhancements
  • Participate in training and UAT as required
  • Support operational processes
  • Adapt to change and support other units
  • Strong focus on control and problem-solving
  • Strong leadership and time management skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluency in English is required
  • 4+ years of Trade Services Operations experience
  • Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) is a plus
  • Thorough understanding of LC rules and regulations -ISP98, UCP600, ISBP
  • Bachelor's Degree minimum
  • Advanced MS Office skills preferred
