Founded in 2012, Bitfinex is a digital asset trading platform offering state-of-the-art services for crypto traders and global liquidity providers.
We are one of the oldest exchanges and a top 10 player by volumes, with a solid customer base of both institutional and retail customers.
We list almost 200 different tokens and also more than 60 perpetual contracts. We also offer our customers yield products through staking and lending. You can find out more about Bitfinex here.Our team is fully remote and globally distributed to capture the best talent from around the world.

Tasks
Responsibilities:
- Daytoday monitoring of market risks within the exchange.
- Identify key metrics for risk monitoring and conduct regular reporting.
- Develop models to quantify risk and transform complex data to provide valueadded analysis and reporting on risk.
- Develop risk procedures, protocols and policies to help build on top of our current risk framework.
- Proactively monitor information channels to detect, report and investigate risk issues.
- Work across different teams to aid in the development of risk solutions.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in spoken and written communication in English
- Experience with Python
- Good understanding of trading, data analysis, scenario analysis and whatif analysis.
- Ability to analyse data quickly and report on realtime risk issues.
- An understanding of programming languages with a strong skill set in data analysis within Excel.
- Be flexible as to working arrangements and hours.
- Flexibility to attend to occasional issues outside regular working hours.
