About ACAPS
ACAPS is dedicated to supporting decision-making in the humanitarian sector by providing independent analysis, deploying experts for assessments, innovating data collection methods, and enhancing capacity development for needs assessment and analysis.

Colombia Analysis Hub
In partnership with NRC, AAH, ApS, and MdM, ACAPS provides analysis on the armed conflict and humanitarian impact in Colombia to improve humanitarian decision-making. Through analytical work, technical support, and methodological advice, ACAPS enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of the humanitarian response in Colombia.
ACAPS' collaboration with IMMAP and REACH in the EVIDEM consortium aims to strengthen humanitarian response through independent analysis and technical support, creating a robust evidence base for decision-making. The multi-sectoral analysis approach considers diverse population groups in complex environments, integrating anticipatory analysis and gender-sensitive perspectives.
Purpose of the position
Contribute to ACAPS' analysis of the Colombian humanitarian crisis to support crisis responders in making informed decisions. Ideal for individuals interested in qualitative and quantitative analysis, humanitarian planning, and evidence-based decision-making. The research analyst role offers exposure to analysis techniques, secondary data review, joint analysis, and data management, focusing on anticipatory and risk analysis in ACAPS' product portfolio.
