Recruiter Contact:Emily Spirko- You will have extensive knowledge in the design of site civil infrastructure for energy projects from concept, feasibility, and detailed design through construction stages.

In addition, you will be preparing and reviewing construction drawings and technical specifications prepared by you and others working on projects.

Under the direction of a Principal engineer, you will lead the technical aspects for Energy projects in the Solar, Wind and Oil & Gas sectors.

- Responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with large multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex civil infrastructure in support of energy projects
  • With mínimal supervision utilize Civil 3D to create alignments, corridors and feature lines to produce civil grading and roadway models for engineering team to review.
  • Advanced understanding and concepts in Civil Engineering design including utility, grading/earthwork, drainage, access road design, erosion and sedimentation control, infrastructure design, constructability evaluations.
  • Perform hydraulic and hydrologic calculations and analysis to evaluate and develop solutions for stormwater designs including drainage, stormwater management, green infrastructure, and low impact development principles
  • Prepare calculations, engineering design plans, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates with mínimal supervision.
  • Review design documents from various disciplines for consistency and coordination
  • Engage in verbal and written communications with the civil design team and other disciplines
  • Identify problems, develop appropriate solutions, and request assistance where necessary.

We welcome applicants (in English only) from engineers with the following experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
  • 515 years' experience in site civil engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil 3D) a strong plus
  • Strong knowledge of stormwater software (hydraflow, stormcad, HEC-RAS, HEC2D, ArcGIS, or equivalents)
  • English at an advanced intermediate level (B2 / C1)
