Be part of our client's team as a Junior Accountant. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, maintain financial records, prepare statements, and collaborate to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Embrace a dynamic environment where growth and excellence converge.

Finance Frontier: Discover Your Setup

• Employment type: Indefinite term type contract
  
• Shift: Monday to Friday | 9:30 am to 6:30 pm EST
  
• Work setup: Remote, Bogota/Medellin
  

Duty Driven: Unravel Your Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
  
• Support accounts receivable activities, such as generating customer invoices, recording receipts, and following up on outstanding balances.
  
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with US GAAP.
  
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures based on US GAAP standards.
  
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
  
• Stay updated on changes and developments in standards and regulations, incorporating them into accounting practices as necessary.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
  
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.
  

Education:

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
  

Tech Stack:
