Drawing on more than a century of experience in crop nutrition, Yara established the Digital Innovation division to explore how technology can improve farmer ́s lives and productivity.


The Project Manager Digital Innovation will be responsible for orchestrating, overseeing, and implementing various projects and initiatives within the Digital Innovation - Americas team collaboration, curiosity, and accountability.


This role will support the creation of frameworks and standardization necessary to ensure project success, track progress against key success metrics, and provide leadership level visibility into all ongoing efforts.

This role requires a versatile and experienced program/project manager with an entrepreneurial mindset who can effectively collaborate with different stakeholders to drive digital innovation and achieve results, while embodying our company's values of ambition, collaboration, curiosity, and accountability.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive a portfolio of projects/initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including tracking deliverables, milestones, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide consistent reporting and communication to stakeholders on project status, risks, issues, and success criteria.
  • Ensure that all projects/initiatives are conducted with harmonized structure and follow best practices for project management.
  • Act as a liaison between teams, facilitating crossfunctional collaboration, and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the significant team structural evolution project, managing the shifting responsibilities and accountabilities across departments, and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Monitor and track the progress of changes activated, ensuring they are in line with the expected progress, and promptly addressing any deviations.
  • Assist in the identification of potential challenges and roadblocks, implementing effective solutions to ensure project continuity.
  • Prepare regular updates to senior leadership on digital innovation initiatives/projects and their impact Yara Americas (Yara globally if applicable).

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Program/Project Manager, ideally within a digital innovation setting.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Experience in organizational behavior, organizational development and/or organizational psychology a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Superior problemsolving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools. PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification is preferred.
  • Embodies our company's values of ambition, collaboration, curiosity, and accountability.
  • Languages, types, and proficiency: English fully fluent and proficient, Spanish and Portuguese (desired)
