The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi's financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citi's current and projected performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and provide critical support for the ICAAP process submission.
  • Coordinate ICAAP exercise with the Country FO as well as manage the work with support areas (Risk, Treasury, Business) to deliver all Regulatory and Internal stress scenarios requirements within deadlines.
  • Lead and manage the any supporting documentation of new and existing models & assumptions (in conjunction with different key stakeholders: Modelers Team, Business, Treasury and MRM), for ICAAP and forward-looking projections (Operating Plan, Strategic Plan, ICAAP, Recovery Plan, Stress Test, etc).
  • Address strategic issues on an ad hoc basis that are complementary to the regular planning and analysis processes.
  • Execute time critical activities for client facing Financial Planning and Analysis teams.
  • Contribute to the development of review material for internal leadership and external regulator reviews.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Responsible for ensuring that all the firm's activities follow the necessary policies, rules and regulations, and that the firm complies with legal/regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions.

Facilitates ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of experience working with a variety of financial platforms
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
  • Fully Bilingual Spanish-English advanced level
  • Knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools. Skills in computer languages, statistics preferred.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent relational and communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree Finance, Economy, Mathematics preferred or equivalent experience
