This role supports the product management operation activities within specific Zebra businesses. The primary objective is to maintain alignment of the team and advance progress against goals, initiatives and overall business unit strategy. This role will work highly autonomously to support the effective and efficient internal workings of the Product Management team, and collaborate cross-functionally with other areas of a business unit and the company.

Responsibilities:


• Works collaboratively with other functional leaders to develop, align and advance on business objectives.

• Monitors and reports business metrics. Creates periodic and ad hoc reports for the product management team and senior management.

• Analyzes and produces insights from multiple data sources (sales data, product data, BMI data, NPS, VOC, tech support, etc.).

• Recommends and tracks metrics to assess business performance. Notifies relevant stakeholders when a metric needs attention or action needs to be taken.

• Delivers presentations to internal audiences, routinely including senior management.

• Leads quarterly forecasting and Long Range Planning process, coordinating efforts and inputs with Product Managers and communicating output with relevant stakeholders across the business unit and the company.

• Leads quarterly inventory Excess and Obsolescence planning process, coordinating mitigation plans with Product Managers and following internal processes with relevant stakeholders across the company.

• Leads optimization of sellable Stock Keeping Units (SKUs). Reviews portfolio SKUs used to rationalize portfolio based on sales out data.

• Monitors, identifies and implements process improvement opportunities within Product Management.

• Drives operational excellence within Product Management. Identifies routine tasks and finds ways to streamline them to help the Product Managers make more efficient use of their time. Identifies and implements tools to enable Product Managers to work effectively.

• Owns Product Management process documentation, communication and enforcement.

• Works cross-functionally between Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Engineering.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree. MBA preferred. 12+ years of experience.
  • Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Skillful at presenting data and insights to people at different levels of the organization.
