Discover the Role

The Accounting & Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting and tax operations within the RDC Bogotá (Regional Delivery Center), focusing on process optimization while acting as a key liaison between RDC, local offices, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise accounting and tax processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
  2. Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and tax filings, identifying and resolving discrepancies when necessary.
  3. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization across accounting and tax functions.
  4. Coordinate with local offices, regulatory bodies, and clients to ensure seamless operations and issue resolution.
  5. Provide guidance and training to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and efficiency.
Key Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  2. 5+ years of experience as manager in accounting and tax, preferably in a shared services environment.
  3. Experience as a people manager.
  4. Strong knowledge of local USGAAP and IFRS.
  5. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and process automation tools.
  6. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
