Job OverviewThe AFL Video Editor is responsible for editing a wide variety of video content that supports our brand and aligns with our mission of promoting the alcohol-free lifestyle. This role requires a blend of creativity, strong organizational skills, and technical expertise. The Video Editor collaborates closely with the CEO, marketing team, and other departments to produce high-quality content, including promotional videos, social media clips, and educational materials, aimed at growing our brand presence. The editor will be working in the Medellín office two days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
Key Responsibilities- Edit and produce high-quality video content, including promotional videos, social media clips, and educational materials, to align with our brand and messaging.
- Collaborate with the CEO, marketing team, and other departments to brainstorm and develop creative concepts.
- Assemble raw footage, trim segments, and create a cohesive story that aligns with the brand.
- Insert music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance video presentations.
- Ensure all content meets quality standards, brand guidelines, and platform-specific requirements.
- Perform color grading, audio mixing, and final edits to deliver polished videos.
- Manage and organize video assets and project files effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in video editing and production.
- Assist with other multimedia projects and tasks as needed.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video production processes, techniques, and social media content creation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Experience with social media content creation and optimization is a plus.
Full-time position with flexibility for remote work. Required to work in the Medellín office two days per week.
