We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Python, Java, and GCP , with strong proficiency in developing APIs using FastAPI . A good level of English is essential for effective collaboration and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs .
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and Java .
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs using FastAPI .
  • Leverage GCP services to develop and deploy cloud-based solutions .
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing backend applications and services.
  • Ensure code quality, scalability, and security through best practices and code reviews .
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in backend technologies and implement improvements as needed.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience in Python and Java for backend development.
  • Proficiency in building APIs using FastAPI .
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for developing cloud-native applications.
  • Solid understanding of database design, querying, and optimization .
  • Knowledge of software architecture, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Docker ).
  • Good proficiency in English , both written and spoken, to communicate effectively in a global team environment.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality backend services and APIs at scale .
