What you will do
  1. Deliver quality backend software using AWS microservices with Terraform (you'll have end-to-end ownership of what you build, from initial requirements reviews and architecture, to development and testing).
  2. Understand, comply with and enforce development standards to ensure consistency across the larger development team.
  3. Be passionate about ensuring quality, through solid test coverage for the code you write and by performing solid code reviews.
  4. Collaborate with the team to ensure specifications are being met.
  5. Remain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Must haves
  1. At least three (3) years of software development experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or relevant work experience.
  3. Object-oriented programming knowledge.
  4. Experience with building and consuming APIs and Web services.
  5. Proficiency with languages such as Java, Python, SQL.
  6. Experience with the design and implementation of APIs.
  7. Aptitude for analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  8. Well-versed in modern architecture and backend software design.
  9. Comfortable with large datasets with both relational and non-relational databases.
  10. Proficiency experience with Git.
  11. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  12. Above all, must have a good attitude, be a team player, and have a strong work ethic.
