Position Title: Junior/Mid Full Stack Developer (Java & SQL)

Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia

What you will be doing:

  • Read and understand Java code, with the ability to make or suggest small changes
  • Provide technical assistance via phone, Teams, and chat to resolve application issues
  • Troubleshoot custom Java applications using Elastic, Rookout, Dynatrace, and other tools
  • Execute SQL queries and updates to diagnose and correct data conditions within an Oracle database
  • Create and update troubleshooting documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Assist developers with testing and quality assurance processes
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • Experience in Java and Web development technologies
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as Elastic, Rookout, and Dynatrace
  • Experience working collaboratively with businesspeople, developers, business analysts, and QA engineers
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Experience with SQL queries to select and update data
  • Experience using and troubleshooting web-based applications
  • Experience with Git
  • Demonstrable experience Agile methodologies

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Logistics is a plus
  • Experience in development of Warehouse Management systems is a plus
  • Experience interfacing with autonomous control system is a plus
  • Experience with relational databases C++ knowledge a plus
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies
