Job Purpose:

As a Vendor Claims Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in managing vendor claims and reconciliation processes. In this position, you'll collaborate closely with vendor partners to ensure accurate financial claims submission, resolve issues, and optimize profitability. If you're detail-oriented, analytical, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit financial claims for assigned vendors, adhering to required formatting and deadlines. Manage claims for various activities, including special pricing, marketing, rebates, etc.

  • Complete account analyses and reconciliations, researching and resolving issues and claim denials received from vendors.

  • Engage in negotiations with vendors to achieve positive outcomes on claims, preventing financial losses due to aging claims.

  • Provide financial and analytical support to various departments, assisting in month-end close activities and deliverable preparation.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in vendor claims and operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • +1 Years of relevant work experience.

  • English - written and oral proficiency

  • Intermediate Excel knowledge required. Proficiency in other relevant computer systems and applications.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize and attend to important details accurately and efficiently.

  • Demonstrated ability in complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.

  • Ability to interact effectively with management and collaborate with colleagues. Strong negotiation skills.

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion even under pressure.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with others.

  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and upholds ethical standards in all activities.

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and technology.
