We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Specialist to join our team and work on a cutting-edge project that involves developing ETL pipelines and providing ad-hoc analysis for our client.

Your expertise in SQL and Python is essential for this role. You will be working with a team of experts in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and soft skills.

This role requires working from the office in Bogota or Medellin.

#LI-AP13 Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Dataswarm pipelines with Spark
  • Write complex SQL queries for ad-hoc analysis
  • Communicate with clients onsite to understand their requirements and propose the best solutions and approaches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the team
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of data integration processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data integration, ETL processes, and data modeling
  • Expert in SQL and Python for querying and manipulating data
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT solutions and production experience with any ETL tool
  • Experience working with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, and PrestoDB
  • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and Scuba In-Memory DB
  • Experience with Version Control Systems such as Mercurial FB and DaiQuery
  • Experience with CDM (DDT) - Central Data Manager, Scheduled Jobs Monitor, DataSwarm, DB UI, Ent UI, and iData
  • Knowledge of Diffs for code research/compare and using VS Code and Bento/Jupiter
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Spark and Presto query engine production
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop/Server production
