This position will report to the Americas Fixed Assets Shared Service Center Senior Supervisor. This position is responsible for analyzing and validating fixed asset set-up requests in accordance with company policy, recording the cost of fixed assets, tracking existing fixed assets, ensuring depreciation accuracy, and providing business unit support.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Analyze and process Capitalized Inventory assets for set-up, retirement, and transfersOversee and review capital authorization requestsEnsure accuracy and integrity of Construction in Process accountsAnalyze PP&E assets for set-up, retirement, and transfersInterpret, apply, and communicate key Fixed Asset policy classificationsReconcile to GLMaintain files by site location of requested transactionsAssist business unit partners with depreciation and capital forecasting inquiresApply accounting knowledge to determine best practices or resolutions for processes or issuesSupport internal and external audit requests as necessaryRequired knowledge and experience:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or any other relatedMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in General AccountingExperience in financial analysis reporting.Excellent communication, analytical and teamwork skillsAdvanced level of EnglishProficiency level of ExcelNice to HavesExperience with fixed assetsExperience SAP and fixed assets moduleExperience with USGAAP
